Hi….it’s Marni!
I look forward to helpinng you achieve a level of performance that is likely not possible if you try to do everything on your own. With so much (mis)information out there, I can help you to navigate your way through all of the science, fads and hype so that you can focus on what you love to do - train and race.
Proper sport and daily nutrition is not only vital to your athletic success but it's important to take care of yourself nutritionally in order to improve your overall health to reduce the risk for disease and illness and to improve quality of life. With my background in exercise science and exercise physiology, I really enjoy helping athletes understand how to use sport nutrition products properly to support the physiology of your body during high volume or intense training as well as on race day.
I do not provide nutrition consultations for intentional weight loss. I do not believe in “bad” foods, mass marketed meal plans or diet fads. The diet culture has misinformed athletes as to the best ways to eat and fuel to optimize performance. I am a performance-focused sport dietitian who offers safe, realistic and sustainable eating and fueling strategies to help you meet your athletic goals while keeping your body and mind in great health.
Don’t leave your daily and sport nutrition strategies to chance. I’ll help you take away the guessing so you can experience what its like to train and race with a well nourished and well fueled body.

Do you want to change your diet, body composition or health?
A Registered Dietitian is the real nutrition expert to help you reach your health, fitness and body composition goals.
A Registered Dietitian has the the highest level of nutrition counseling. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist or obtain a certification in nutrition, but only a registered dietitian (RD) has completed multiple years of extensive education and training established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). In addition to holding a bachelor's degree, a Registered Dietitian must fulfill a specially designed, accredited nutrition curriculum, get accepted into and then complete an extensive 6-10 month supervised internship program of practice (typically 1200 hours) and successfully pass the 3-hour rigorous registration exam. What's more, roughly half of all RDs and RDNs hold graduate degrees and many have certifications in specialized fields, such as sport nutrition, pediatric, renal, oncology or gerontological nutrition.
For athletes, a Registered Dietitian specializing in sport nutrition can provide safe, realistic and practical suggestions to help you create a personalized style of eating that will work for your individual health, body composition and athletic goals. A Board Certified Sport Dietitian has the skills and training to assist in managing health issues, disordered eating, meal planning, energy and fueling requirements and assisting in effective and healthy body composition changes as it relates to fostering performance improvements without sabotaging health. There's nothing more satisfying than having a qualified nutrition expert to work with as it relates to learning how to develop healthy habits for a lifetime of good health and athletic excellence.
